Who I sell to

So you are thinking of getting an exotic pet? let me tell you they are SOOOOOO CUTE!!! and LOVEABUL, BUT, they are ALOT more work then the avrage pet. And they cost ALOT more.

You already know that a sugar glider is an adult pet and not for everyone. You wake them up at 8- 10 o'clock, depending on when the sun sets, you play with them untill 12:00 am or later if you like. This is like having a pet bat. SUN light is bad!!! Then you leave them in a BIG cage with a friend. Or toys to keep your glider bussy all night. they are the one knowen animal that can die of depression. This is VARY important to know.

You have to be atleast 14-15 years old. because anyone younger will constantly wake them up during the day, as they can not understand. MOM and DAD HAVE to agree, and meet with me, and work with me.

I'm not going to sell my gliders to someone who doesn't know anything about sugar gliders. So do LOTS of research, as I will be quizing you. I want to see that you put a lot of heart in to this. I'm not going to talk you in to geting one.

They live 15 years, so you better have them that long. if you ARE 15 years old, that just tells you how long they live. so you will have them till you are 30 years old. they become a family member, if raised right. I have seen too many gliders go to bad homes and have to be rescued later in life. A Friendly glider is a glider with a good home. a bitting glider tells you, that he has not come from a good home, or, has had many homes. a Sugar glider wants love, and affection as much as a cat or dog. I have 2 biting gliders, they are only a year and a half and do not know what a good home is yet! You don't want to play with a biting glider, or a scared glider, you want a glider that jumps on you sholder and kisses you. to pervent this, you have to spend LOTS of time with them.

I will try my best, however, to teach you everything about them I'm looking for someone who has been looking for a glider and already knows how to feed them, how much attention they need and how much they cost and is ready to take on the responsibility.

still intrested? my prices are not set, the reasion they are so high is because my mother is Champagne, a lighter color then most gray gliders. but we will see what the joeys turn out like.

Prices
Pet or for breeding of the Champagne/light colored

PETS the price stays the same in canadian and US
Male $300.00 pluse $100.00 to get him neutered (400)
Female $350.00

two gliders brother/sister or sister/sister
Male/Female $500.00 pluse 100 to get him neutered (600)
female/Female $550.00

BREEDING Female $350.00
Male $350.00

MY ADVICE TO YOU THE BREEDER I do not sell Males for breeding unless you already have a female and are looking to breed otherwise they get nutered. there are already to many gliders running around with no homes, soon they will just be a replacement of the hampster, and I don't like that. I never wanted to breed, but was convinced to do so as my gliders are a rare color and it would be a waist not to do so. when I no longer have a buyer, I will get my male nutered. I will not keep breeding and lowering my prices, and I hope you will do the same.
also make a limit, when you reach 10 gliders in your home, its time to get the males neutered, all of them!!! You can't seporate your male and female because you don't want them to breed thats bad
by not making a limit you end up with more and more gliders and before you know it you will have 40 gliders then you get poor living conditions, and people will be complaining about the smell and the bugs and you can't afford to put your gliders on a good diet (BML) and your gliders are no longer as healthy, and are not hand tame. then you end up dropping your prices which means people buy them just because they are cute and don't care enough, and re sell them for 49 bucks.
we have had SG in my family for almost 10 years and I have seen our babies be resold for 49 bucks, which makes me so mad. to pervent this, we have to stop selling to stupid people!! lol let me be the first *wink*
remenber you get what you pay for. this is real you must think before you become a breeder.

Gliders For sale
