IN THE BEGINNING

God Created Man in His Own Image.

I first found Mr. Barker thru his short storys titled: THE BOOKS of BLOOD, IN the FLESH and The INHUMAN CONDITION. I am an artist, a painter. Some of my paintings are on this page, although distorted (love to do that). In reading his work I seemed to have found my verbal counterpart. I have since become aware of his artwork and obvious movie visuals. (there are living demons and they are superior to me. Dam them all!!!!!)



The Midnight Meat Train, In the Hills,The Cities and New Murders in the Rue Morgue are three stories from the "BLOOD BOOKS", which stay floating in my mind, coming out every so often as if from my own memory. His ability to capture a moment in time, a second of shear terror and the resolting flow of bile and blood.



"Hellraiser" with it's search for unending ecstasy. A place where monsters fight to be human and humans fight like monsters, while all is contained in a little box, and the ultimate dream, imortality.


My favorit novel hands down is IMAJICA (god willing they will
never make a movie-mutilation of it!) With a close runner up to
WEAVEWORLD (the first novel I read, has a worm place in my
guts) Favorite movie is NIGHT BREED (just plain fun. Twisted
priest, I was born catholic but escaped, and all) This is the first
page I have done. Hope you liked it. Additions and changes will
