--- The History Of Atlantis --- The original story of Atlantis is long and diverse, but it is said that Poseidon, God Of The Sea, created the island for his love, a mortal woman named Cleito. On the top of the hill in the center of the island a great temple was constructed to honor Poseidon, as well as a large golden statue of him riding a Chariot pulled by winged horses. The combined size of the Continent on which Atlantis became situated was particularly vast, and a great number of people came to live and work there. For many centuries the Atlanteans lived out there lives with piece and dignity, fulfilling their daily chores with contentment and determination. However, before too long greed and power began to overwhelm many of them, and Zeus decided to punish Atlantis. Soon afterwards the entire Continent was lost under the ocean, taking with it one of the world's most perplexing mysteries.
Atlantis was a large island in the Atlantic Ocean, which lay in front of the mouth of the pillars of Heracles (straits of Gibraltar). Their inhabitants became a spiritually ugly race and for that reason Zeus sent the gods destroyed them by a letting the island be swallowed up by the sea. Atlantis was ruled by a confederation of kings and its power extended over Libya as far as Egypt and over Europe as far as Tuscany. About 8000 years before the Trojan War, Atlantis attempted to conquer the whole of the Mediterranean world but was defeated by the Athens of those remote times and its allies. Later, when the gods perceived that Atlantis was inhabited by an evil race, they let the island be destroyed by the third of floods, which preceded the Flood in the time of Deucalion 1.
The first ten kings of Atlantis (five pairs of twins) were all sons of Poseidon an Clieto 2.The first born was Atlas, who was appointed to be king over the rest and after whom the island was called “The legend of Atlantis” is not connected with other myths except for the name of Atlas and Poseidon

By studying all the small islands in the Pacific I noticed that the islands all seem to fit together. Also the death sea, which is partly in the Bermuda Triangle, could be upgrowth from the center of the original island.
