It wouldn't do to have a big brawl right in the middle of the studio, would it? No, not at all. So, with great reluctance, you suggest to Mr. Mercury that he better get out now if he values his behind. Or something to that effect.
"Well, I don't want to interrupt, but Freddie, don't you have an appointment right about now?"
Freddie looked at you, confused.
"Appointment? I don't have any-"
"Yes, you do. Remember??" You hint.
He frowns and then says, "Ah, that appointment. Yes, I do have to leave. Ta ta, dears," he turns to you, "And good luck."
You sigh. Now with Freddie gone, it's just you and a very distraught Brian May. What to do? Oh, yes, you know what to do. Talk about anything besides the Red Special.
"So, um, Brian, I heard that, erm, you're getting your hair cut."
Alright, scratch the conversation. That's all that you could get out! What an idiot.
"No, I don't think I will. It's rather healthy these days, don't you think? Here, feel it."
He was asking you to feel his wonderfull curly mop of hair. If you pass this up, I'm going to have to hurt you.
You reach out and touch his hair. So silky! So smooth and *sniff* it smell's lovely! You grin like a 5 year old.
"Very healthy, Brian. What's your secret?"
He winks. "Can't tell you."
Oh. Bummer. But at least you got his mind off the guitar for a moment. You look at the clock. It's already 5:00! Time for some cocktails. Where's Roger when you need him?
"Hey, Brian, how about we go get something to drink."
While waiting for his answer you decide to play back some track from the Game. Good stuff. You start air guitaring to Another One Bites the Dust, then remember that Brian was sitting right beside you. You stop. You look at Brian. He's rather...pale. Paler than usual. What have you done?
"Brian? Briiiian? Hellooo? Anybody home?"
He was sorta slumped over in his chair. Maybe he fell asleep. Yeah, right.
You sent Brian May into a temporary state of Shock, delayed The Game, and ultimately ruined the careers of 4 men! How do you feel now??!
Note: Brian recovered, but forgot how to play guitar. Nice going. John led a nice family life, working as a part-time mechanic. Roger became a playboy (who knew?) and now is living off his huge salary. He is currently unnatached. Freddie became a call-girl (as prophesized) and married an eccentric (not so much as he, I guess) millionaire. Look what you did.
