Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-Queen's Induction

html Where was John Deacon? On Wednsday, March 21st, on VH1, Queen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They started off the show with a bang, having Brian May and Roger Tayler perform with others (insignificant people) two songs. Both were favorites. They kicked it off with a rousing rendition of We Will Rock You that had both Roger and Brian making up for the loss of John Deacon and, of course, Freddie Mercury. It was excellant and they were awesome to see after a few years but the noticable absence of John put quite a damper on things. After We Will Rock You (and was it just me or did Roger sound like he had a frog in his throat?) they had a little fun with Tie Your Mother Down. All through their radical performance I sat in rapt attention. Still, I wondered, what could have possiblely happened to John? Was he sick, a family emergency perhaps? I remember reading somewhere that he said he "...can't sing a note." Possiblely that's why he didn't come, for fear of having to perform--vocally. When they accepted their award, they commented that both John and Freddie sent their love. They came out with a surprise that I'm sure no one was expecting. They had Freddie Mercury's mother accept his award for him. I tell you, their was not a dry eye in the house. So touching. After that, nothing interested me so I didn't watch. So here's a question for John Deacon or anybody who knows, Where was John Deacon and why was he there?Somebody, please answer.
