Puncture Wounds

These are wounds caused by either a weapon or a sharp pointed object, gabbing under the skin, into the muscle. In treating these One must be weary of severed or puntured blood vessels, that will either have to be seared or stiched shut.

Since this wound usually need stiches, and the wound may also be deep, One has to clean out the blood using clean (if possible starile) water and rep cloths. If possible (not letting the person die of bleed out) let the blood run for a while and clean the wound out, wiping off the blood from the skin, before cleansing it completely. Once clean, check for any torn blood vessels. If there is damage then stich them. If stiching is found to be impossible, for any reasons, then they must be seared before the wound is stiched up in order to prevent gangerine.

Once this is done, the wound is then to be recleaned and stiched according to the directions for stiching. The wound is then to be checked three times a day, for three days. Each time the wound is checked, it is to be recleaned and banadged with fresh bandages. All this is in order to prevent infections.
