Julie Serena 1/3/63 Capricorn-Tiger I'm a Registered Nurse, with plans to become a midwife in the near future. I had all my little ones naturally: Kena was born at a friend's home, Kopyrh at an out-of-hospital birthing center in a jacuzzi (water birth) and Gryffen at my home in a kiddie pool (another water birth) which Kopyrh calls the "kitty pool". I know I work in a hospital, but I wouldn't have a baby in one unless it was ABSOLOUTLY NECESSARY! (I will update this site with the three little kitten's birth stories soon).

Graduation Day! Yay!
Finally, May 17th 2000, after 5 years of university, new motherhood, toddlerdom, divorce, relationships, more pregnancies, births, marriage, new babies and growing children...I MADE IT!!!! I'm deeply in debt but I actually completed one of my goals (finish nursing school). What a relief...(BTW, I'm 7 months pregnant for Gryffen in this picture)

Later that year...calm after the storm...
Here we are in my little Brooklyn Apartment...giving thanks on Thanksgiving. We are not going to miss this tiny place too much, but it did serve it's purpose well.

Carousing...
Here is a pic of me around 5 months pregnant for Kopyrh...on a carousel in Brooklyn. Little did I know then that I was about to gain enough weight to put me at the 200lb mark, before giving birth to my lightest (7lb 14oz) child! Isn't the human body strange?
