Healing Light

I was lying in bed, feeling quite sick when I decided that I was going to try a simple visualization magick on myself to stop myself from feeling ill. I meditated until my breath was at an even pace and I felt like an extension of my environment. I then envisioned a white hot light filling my body with healing energy. After this, I felt quite refreshed!

Then, a few seconds later, the entire room began to spin, and I felt like I was falling. I'd felt like that before, so just let myself go with the falling feeling, figuring (like every other time before) I would just knock myself out of it. That didn't really work.

It wasn't long before I realized that I had drawn way too much energy into my self. My healing energy had been turned into a violent electric current circulating my body, making me feel sick. I quickly poured my excess energy into the earth (I always choose to give excess energy to the earth because I have an affinity to everything except the earth), and felt instantly better.

The point of my story is to make sure you only take the energy you need. If you take too much, it will come back to you...

Introduction
Using stones in your magick is one of the simplest ways to add or direct power to your spell or ritual. Here are the color association of stones for the Celtic Tradition.

White: spiritual guidance, being dirrected into the right paths, becoming centered, seeing past all illusions.
Red: courage to face a conflict or test, energy, taking action.
Pink: healing, true love, friendship.
Orange: change your luck, power, control of a situation.

Simple, Everyday Runes

I have divised a simple way of incorporating runes into your everyday life to help you gain the energy you want to throughout the day.

The first step is to meditate on what you want to get out of the day, be it to draw love to you, or pass a test. When you decide what kind of energy you want, find the rune that best suits your needs, then draw it on either your hand or over your third eye. Simply speak the runes name alloud, and charge it with your own energy, and viola! Instant rune spell.

I know, I know, it seems entirely too easy to be a spell, but eversince I started this ritual, I've been closer to my friends and family. It also is a great study tool to memorize those runes.

In the book, it describes how to use the runes as a divinary tool, but here, I have selected the definitions of the various runes for use in magick. Sorry, the quality is not up to par, but at least I tried. I hope this proves useful!

How to Create A Sigil

Merry Meet,

Sigils are some of the easiest ways to create magick. They can be used for anything you want, and don't require a lot of tools to create.

1. Write what you want on a piece of paper.
EX: "I will be an actress."

2. Take out the double letters.
EX: "I wl be an ctrs."

3. Take out all vowels.
EX: "wlbnctrs"

4. Take the remaining letters and create a symbol with them (overlapping and distorting is okay), and create a compact symbol with them.
EX:

5. Charge the sigil.

6. Destroy your sigil.
EX: throw it into a river, burn it, burry it.

That's all there is to it! The sigil will take your energy and send it out into the world where it will then come back to you in the form of your wish being granted. Cool, huh? That's all for now!
