Tap Sets

These are the cheapest sets of taps we found anywhere.
Where all others cost around $300-400 for the set of three, the first pic here cost $180 for the set of three, and the second cost $220.
We personally prefer the second, as for $40 more, you could have a set that won't date, and still look as good as more expensive sets.

Vanity

These are some of the vanities we found which were fairly cheap. All come in an Almond Ivory colour, but thats a really dark cream which wouldn't really suit the Antique White wall tile (below).
Vanity 1 (Gloss Cupboards) $429
Vanity 2 (Matt Cupboards) $289
Vanity 3 (Gloss Cupboards) $529.
Vanity 3 is basically just an example of the same as vanity 1 except it's from Harvey Norman.

The biggest problem we found with the vanity is that standard sizes are either 750mm, 900mm, 1200mm or larger and the vanity thats currently in is just under 1100mm. Mainly because it was a custom made cabinet that had a bowl dropped into it. We could do the same thing, but it would probably end up costing more than Vanity 2 here costs as a unit. Here's a example of just a bowl for you to look at anyway. It cost $105 and coms as a 1 or 3 taps holes.

Tiles

These are the three floor tiles I had in mind. I particularly prefer Number 1 as it matches the best with the other things in the house, plus it's the cheapest!

These are two wall tiles with all the floors. One obviously being the Antique White and the other being just White.
The Antique White one, whilst being nice, will also cost about twice as much as the White. The other thing is, that with the bath being white, and white being the cheapest and easiest to get in vanities, etc it would fit better.
That said though, by having only an Antique White wall tile, it offers a slight contrast to the starkness of any white accesories and will usually take the brightness away from those accesories. If that makes sense.
The Antique White goes alot better with my preferred tile too. But here's a couple of pics against the bath to give you some idea on colour difference.

Borders and Accesories

Is this what you were thinking of in terms of a rope border?
Kim also thought one similar in profile to the bottom one would go nicely aswell. Unfortunetly, there are no close colours to the type of floor tile colours we've chosen, but you can get all these in a colour to match the Antique White wall tile, so they'd at least serve a purpose of breaking up the continuity of the wall.

I also thought of putting some of these in. Obviously, you'll need soap holders, and one of those here has a shelf on top which you could use in the shower if you wanted.
The other two are a double towel rail, and a hand towel ring which you could put in if you chose to tile around the opposit side of the bathroom as well (to a height of 1200 where the old tiles are at now). The only thing we haven't found out about is the price of either shower screens, or at least getting the old one redone around the outside. But that should be fairly straight forward and just a matter of finding the cheapest one.

Give us a ring and I can get all this started as ASAP and then I can have a shower! YAY!!
