Kamikaze Chicken

Cloud VII.......... Mistryl's Yahoo! Photos

July 25, 2001

I got the photos from the Youth Symphony Orchestra Concert (two!), SAT course (6?), and Serra Park party (umm) developed. So about 20 more photos will be uploaded soon. It would really help if I had a digital camera so I wouldn't waste time and money developing them and scanning them in*hintparents. I'm not too concerned about hard copies. That's what photographic paper is for.

July 24, 2001

Hehe. Soon shall I be a volunteer at DCN, thanks to Jo. Finally, my Yahoo albums are up and running. Check them out.

July 12, 2001

Ok peoples. Here's the plan. Since I'm too emotionally attached to this site, I'll leave it be, but leave it just as a site between my main site and the photos at Yahoo! (I like their organization). so yah. As soon as I finish uploading the photos, at least the Disneyland ones, I'll post the link.

July 8, 2001

Oops. Changed hosts. New website at www.virtue.nu/rosesister . Sorry!

July 2, 2001

Whew! I finally uploaded the basic necessities of my new website, even though none of the links are active yet, =( . The opening is tommorow, so visit if you have time to waste. Well, I guess this is the end of Angelfire Kamikaze Chicken. *mourn* The new Kamikaze Chicken will be Yahoo! Photo Album, since it will hopefully be easier for me to manage. Bye guys, and see you over at Dreamweaver> Oh, and did I mention it was hot today?

June 27, 2001

How inconsiderate of me. Here's a link to what has started of my new main page: Dream Weaver>. All there is is a picture, so you're forewarned. Oh, got the Pops Concert CD, THREE months after the concert. Tsktsk. But it is very good. Concertmaster's solos in Concerto Grosso IX Allegro are very, erm, enthralling? Shame on me, I have tons of pictures and two rolls to develop, and I haven done it yet. =P Yes, I am now done beating myself up. Oh, and did I mention that I'm jealous of the Wind Ensemble people who are currently in Germany, while I am here, slaving away at Algebra II? Oh, not to mention the fact that they could also AFFORD to go there, and 3/4 of them are going to college. So now their parents (or themselves?) are loaded down with college expenses AND that. I am definitely never going into business, yet I still plan to join FBLA next year. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

Since Jo brought it up, I'll write it down. It's sad that she doesn't have internet access and updates more often than me. While I have internet access. Oh, and I have plans. Kamikaze Chicken will soon become the Picture Branch of my little network of sites. Already working on the graphics.

June 23, 2001

Is a 1320 good on the SATs? I took a pseudo one at West Valley College today. My mom doesn't believe me, so she's checking all the answers. I am disappointed in this lack of trust....Also considering the fact I doodled in class, and wrote notes to Tiffany on my TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator. I have had more experiences in matrices. I don't think I like them so much anymore. I liked the graphing calculator because I just had to stick in the numbers and the answer would pop out, saving me at least 15 minutes doing multiplication by hand. I applaud the people at Texas Instruments. I don't understand Blogger. So no blogging for me as of this moment.

June 20, 2001

Yay! School's out (yeah, LAST WEEK!). NO, seniors gone. NO, summer school. I love my graphing calculator (specifics: multiplying matrices). More on this later... Go to Jo's site (posted in links), she's lot more up to date than me. WAY more up to date..

June 12, 2001

Playing around with frames. But since I was up for six hours studying for my geometry final, my brain is a little more than fried.

May 28, 2001

Did some work on this website. Linked the Links page. Stuck all the photos in a subdirectory (you have no idea how much pain that is working with a couple megs of photos, 56k modem connection, and a bad memory...). Uploaded 3/5 of the adoptables thingys. Expect them fluttering around my site in the appropriate places. Also updated personal info if you're interested. Yes, today was a workworkwork day. And then tommorow is the GSE Geometry... *weepweepweep :-/

Happy Birthday Lisa!!! Anyways, for updates. I got the rest of the Disneyland pictures linked, so go and feast your eyes upon that. I know that's a quote in some form, but since I don't know the source, or even the exact quote, I'll leave it in that form. I just have to link the pictures where we wore Disneyland shirts to school (not many of them), scan in the two pictures I borrowed from Jo, and actually making this site look decent.

Don't count on any fancy work such as flash. They're really nice, but I want my site accessible for all peoples, and to not bug them with the necessity of downloading additional software to view my site. So that's my two cents. Signing off....

May 18, 2001

Some events today. First, Happy Birthday Tiffany!!! As for updates, I got the Disneyland pictures scanned in, and most of them posted. So Jonathan(concertmaster), there's another picture of yourself if you're interested. I also installed Adobe Photoshop 5.0, and I'm playing around with it for graphic work. Right now, I'm working on a collage. Maybe I'll post it. Whew! I'm roasting in the computer room, *dreaming of ice cream* To be more realistic, it would be orange sherbet. I'm also thinking about writing about important (or what I think is important) or what I have reactions to that I would would like to vent. Hmmm...Some feedback would be nice on this thought(which means: EMAIL ME (or signing guestbook is ok). I NEED OPINIONS!!!) .

May 15, 2001

Well, actually getting around to Disneyland pics, although I only got two of them up. Begging humble forgiveness...

May 6, 2001

Sorry for lack of updates for what, three weeks? Been soooo busy. We did ok at CMEA. Orchestra got Excellents and a Superior in Sight-reading (because Mr. Burn picked the easiest music out of the folder..), so we got overall Exellent. Chamber Orchestra got Unanimious Superior. Hmmmm, what else...I've been busy planning for the site. Adoptables I've adopted, new graphics (graphics? what graphics?), and actually getting around to scanning pictures in.

April 24, 2001

Well, I got some work done. I uploaded my unfinished personal profile, but I can't upload the Disneyland pictures because Angelfire's FTP server is done. And then I haven't finished scanning in the pictures anyways. First day of STAR testing is over. I think it's easy, so I'm scared by that. I'm planning to enhance my website with nicer graphics (which I formatted when I was waiting to for the STAR testing to finish), add more features (like other peoples original art), links, and some other goodies. Keep checking!

April 21, 2001

Yay! I got the Disneyland photos developed! I got some of them scanned in, but it'll take me time, because I took 3 rolls of film (lots to scan in). Here's a sample. I also have to flip the other pictures, but it's taking time because I (1) have a life and (2) my usual image editing program (MGI Photosuite), is not recognizing jpg formats, which excruciating annoying, so I have to install the new prgram I downloaded. There's also a UCO site in the works with some of my friends. Also expect some basic information about myself soon, so you know a teensy bit about your dear little crazy webmistress. CMEA festival at Independence High this Friday. Guaranteed more pictures!!

April 9, 2001

Groggy. Groggy. Groggy. And I have to make up a probability quiz tommorow. Argh. Back from Disneyland. It was really fun, except for the bus ride. Now, everytime I'm in a moving car, I'm horribly sick. I got the links to the pictures (not Disneyland, still have to develop those) online, so you can download them. Otherwise not much. Except that Jo Lin's visor flew off on the Grizzly. But then I just found out that out 3 seconds ago on an AIM chat.

March 31, 2001

I can't believe it. I spent a lot of my parents' money going to a computer camp to learn programming, and I barely remember any html, so I am reduced to using the idiot-help-me-I'm-drowning walkthrough from angelfire. Anyways, I got this URL about 2 weeks ago and finally thought of getting around to this. And I apologize if there are popup ads, if there are, email me, and I'll think about what to do. For all you UCO and Homestead orchestra peoples who got this webpage for the photos I took at Pops Concert(yes, that means Jo, LJ, and whoever), I'm getting the photos developed this weekend (oooohhh...) and I will likely have them scanned in and uploaded by Wednesday.

Or you could just wait and flip through them on the bus to Disneyland.
