McCann day is a celebration of the McCann family. It is a reunion of sorts, but mainly an excuse for us to all relax and spend a day together. Hopefully, McCann day will become an annual holiday, falling the weekend before Father's Day.

5/21/04 McCANN DAY HAS OFFICIALLY MOVED TO SATURDAY, AUGUST 14!!! Please make a note of this change. It was made for the convenience of the majority of the family. Please, let me know if this change affects you.
5/6/04 I've gotten ahold of about half the McCann's by now. So far almost everyone I've spoken with has been a yes. There are still a few people up in the air. Blarg. Hopefully, evrything will work out for the best. I am starting to take sign-ups for pot-luck dishes, but I'm sure that most of the food talk won't begin for another month. If any one can locate Jenny or Michele's address or phone numbers, please let me know. Thanks, Erin.
5/6/04 Uncle Dave, Uncle Jem, and Keri have all expressed conflicts with the June Date. I also recieved an email from Aunt Kelly saying that Tabby has a problem with the date (though I'm not sure that her situation would change if the date were changed.) Anywho, there is a possibility that I could change the date to August, and more McCann's could be in attendance. I need to know what people think of that, especially those who have already made a commitment to the June date. I know that Tom Brooks needs notification of stuff like this. One additional plus to the date change would be that tomatoes would be in season, and Grandma could make her famous tomatoes and cheese. Mmmmm... Let me know what everyone thinks. ---Erin
