This is one of the craziest things ever. Um... there's this 12-year-old boy named Gumball Watterson. Or actually I think he's supposed to be a cat, or something. He's blue and has cat ears and whiskers and a tail. Just like his mom. However, his dad is a big, pink, stupid bunny. He has a 4-year-old sister named Anais, who is also a pink bunny, but smarter than anyone in the family. Except maybe the mom, though maybe she only seems smart compared to her husband and son. Also, Gumball's best friend is Darwin, who apparently was the family's pet goldfish or something, until he sprouted legs. Now he's like Gumball's brother. Sort of. The world of Gumball is populated by all kinds of bizarre characters including a teacher at school named Miss Simian, who is a baboon or something, and students at Gumball's school include a balloon named Alan, a tyrannosaur named Tina, a cactus named Carmen, a peanut with antlers named Penny, a piece of toast named Anton, a banana named Joe, a potato named Idaho, a robot named Bobert, an emo ghost named Carrie, a flying eyeball named William, and several even stranger things. There are also plenty of strange people who live around town, including Gumball's neighbors, a cranky old couple called the Robinsons. The show combines several different types of animation and apparently puppetry, and I think some actual, like, real world backgrounds or whatever.

Anyway, I don't know what else to tell you. It's basically just Gumball and Darwin trying to figure out what to do each day, and they're both kinda dumb and easily bored, and seem like they have ADHD or something. Their plans are always pretty ridiculous. It's all just so... insane. But with a sort of veneer of normalcy. I can't explain it. But I think it's pretty funny. *shrug*
