Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, on ABC & UPN

Follows the video Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins (which I need to rewatch and write up a review, someday). Of course, the character was originally introduced in the movie Toy Story, which I'll also have to rewatch and review, along with its sequel. But then, the character within those movies was just a toy, based on a fictional sci-fi cartoon-within-the-movie. More or less. So this series... is, in theory, what the kid in the movie would have watched, I suppose. Which is to say, the character here is either more real or less real than the toy in the movie, depending on your point of view. I guess. But at any rate, the show's not treated as a show, or anything. It's treated as real. Hmmm, very meta.
Anyway... I thought this show was fairly funny and cool. Buzz Lightyear was a space ranger, with a team that included Booster Munchapper, Mira Nova, and a robot named XR. (I want to mention that their rocket's number is 42, which happens to be my favorite number.) They faced a number of enemies, but the main one was Evil Emperor Zurg. Um... I really don't know what else to say, except I loved the whole voice cast, who've all done other things of which I'm a fan. Anyway, definitely a fun show. I should try to watch it again someday, maybe I could think of more to say....
