ADD Hour Homepage
This is a story of a lonely boy with a lot of time on his hands. Alex grew up with nothing much to do. He was always playing with himself and he felt nothing. So, in a much needed companionship, he joined Hall Council. Suddenly, he found himself in a world of people much like himself, who also laughed at stupid things(of course). Alex was enthralled with the idea that he could actually talk and hang out with these people. He couldn't get enough of them so he came up with this insane idea that they should all start a television series together on NIU TV. People actually liked this idea and the ADD Hour was brought into existance.

We deliberated if we should rip off "Jackass" or "Who's Line Is It?" or even "SNL" in any way. We decided that would probably be a bad idea and so we sat down and had a few writing sessions. The comedy was overwhelming, spurting from every orifice.

We had several writing sessions, one of which warranted the picture on the main page. This was only the start of realizing how absolutely humerous we are when we are together. We laughed, cried, made fun of each others races and then beat each other up night after night until we got some great ideas.

True, some ideas did come out of our asses, but we later cut all those from the drawing board.

Everything seemed to be going along well. The people were happy with the skits. The A.D.D. Hour was turning into the greatest show NIU had ever seen. We even came up with a side video, '2 hot 4 Channel 8'. Unfortunately, we came into contact with some problems.

Finding a camera on which to shoot the show became a problem because none of us owned one or were rich enough to buy one. This was yet another thing putting stress on what may be the greatest show ever to come from the NIU students. Despite the ever-increasing difficulty of finding a camera, we ran into an even more pressing problem, we needed to buy tapes. Alex volunteered the little money he has to buying tapes to finish our pilot episode which will air on Channel 8 at NIU in April and May. We are very proud to be finished with something and have plans to get much more done over the summer so next fall, when everyone is back at school, the show will flow on a more even balance showing every Sunday.

If you wish to donate a camera, tapes, editing skills or fundraiser volunteering, please email us as soon as possible so we could put you into an aspect of our show. We hope you enjoy all the love we bring to you and we will do our best to continue with good clean comedy for the next generation.
