Hiroshima

Kumiko, Asian Guardian

Blinded by the brightest flash
Of the Atomic Bomb,
Thousands of women, children, men,
And all of them are gone.
The searing pain, the blinding flash;
Burning fire, through streets and souls;
Punctured, fallen, burried,
Everything now with holes.
Half the way around the world
You can hear the people cry,
Screaming out in anguish,
Hear them praying as they die.
Thousands of people died that day-
Many did not live long-
Children, families, all of them dead;
Just because we dropped the bomb.
