Hey there, this is Colbee, aka "FrumpyGranny"! Hi! Thanks for visiting my feeble attempt at a web page! This is my first attempt at a homepage, so to speak. So let's see, I am 27 (On June 30th). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and a Master's in Special Education, and worked as a Special Ed teacher in a high school until May of this year. I had to resign for health reasons, as I was diagnosed with cancer in February of this year. But I'm doing well, and it is actually appearing to be shrinking, and going away. I am a huge fan of the Mets, and I don't even want to hear the criticisms! Trust me, I hear them all the time, as my sister is a Yanks fan and my brother a Giants fan! But, my grandmother was a Mets fan (My grandfather unfortunately was also a Yankees fan, go figure), and I grew up wanting to love the Mets because my Grandmother did. So, here I am rooting for a team I don't even know anymore! I love to read, and listen to music, and I always have to have the radio or tv on, because I totally *hate* silence! I also love kids, and right now I am "The babysitter" two nights a week for two little girls, and was working part time in a daycare/preschool 3 days a week, until I was told I couldn't work at all until I have surgery. One of my best friends had her first baby just a short while ago, (Khayleah Shae) and *yes* I'm excited! *Smile* I have no children of my own---yet! I do have an older sister, Kim, and a younger brother, Paul. However, my best friend Brandi lived with us for almost 5 years, and is much like a sister as well. And my little sister in law, Tabaitha, I met her at my old job almost 4 years ago, and she has been a part of our family ever since. The most important and wonderful part of my life is my angel, Steve. I have been married before, to a man who was decent and kind, but with whom I should have just stayed friends. But with Steve, I am experiencing *True* love for the first, and I hope last time. The love we have between us is immesurable, and inconceivable by most people. It is the love that is written about in poems and fairy tales and sonnets, and yet, never truly captured in words. It is so much more than love.
