Welcome to
Warming Families
of Greater Seattle
Warming Families is a crafting project to get families and groups involved in helping provide handmade warm items (knitted, crocheted, or sewn) hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, slippers and stuffed animals for homeless families and our local area shelters. This crafting project is sponsored by Alan Osmond's One Heart Foundation (a501(c)(3) charity) and TheFamily.com. We're looking for volunteers and small groups of families, friends, church groups, etc... to work on afghans and blankets. If you cannot do the crocheting, knitting, or sew you can donate materials (yarn, fabric, much needed batting, etc.) or help stitch crocheted or knitted squares and tie quilts. We encourage everyone to help out. No matter how great or small, your contribution is greatly appreciated by those in need. If you have completed items to donate, send them to the address be
