Fire Below UsFrom a DVD called Fire Below Us, which was an extraordinarily good program about Mt. St. Helens and other volcanoes. I watched MSH go off when I was a kid. We stood on our roof and watched the column of smoke and ash rise into the air. I wasn't as impressed as the adults were though, and got bored and went away to play on the swingset. I am more impressed about it now, as I watch this video, which recreated the events with dramatizations and interviews. At the end there were shots of all these lovely dormant cones including Mt. Rainier, which I live by right now, and Mt. Shasta which I used to live by (and is my favorite) and Crater Lake, which I want to visit sometime soon! I couldn't help making some of those shots into a puzzle pack. All of these are 320 x 320 size pictures which fill the whole high-res puzzle screen.
Webshots AnimalsI had no puzzles and no time! So I cruised by Webshots and saved a bunch of the thumbnails. Being made from 280 x 210 thumbnails, they make smaller puzzles which are quick and easy to arrange.
