Miss Savannah came to the pet store I was working at, along with a male she had been caged with. She was in deplorable condition from being kept in a tiny filthy cage, her entire abdomen was eaten away
so bad I really thought I'd find maggots in her. I took her home to attempt to nurse her back to health, and every day she improved a little bit more. My habit was to check on her every night right before I went to bed and imagine my shock when I found 4 tiny babies in her sleep hut! I had not even known she was pregnant. Needless to say, her babies thrived, as did she. Savannah was a gentle, sweet girl, and a very good mama. She was very lenient about my holding the babies, even when they were tiny.
I had Savannah about 3 years until she passed on from an unknown cause. She was a wonderful girl, and a beautiful chocolate chip color. And she blessed me with my Tommy :)
I do not have many photos of her, but I hope you enjoy the few I do have.....
Miss Savannah in her bath.....thats no-tear soap she got on her face guys. :)
