This contract is between Chris Wolff, hereafter known as seller, and ________________________________, hereafter known as buyer.
Some of the following terms of this contract are negotiable, any modifications shall be listed under the heading of "Other." ALL modifications shall take the precedence over the provision(s) it replaces. All involved parties must be in good standing with the AKC, prior to executing the following contract:
1. Seller offers the [ ]pet quality Dachshund for $600 OR [ ]show
prospect/breeding quality Dachshund for $700.

3. Seller guarantees dog is healthy and will have a vet health certificate
to establish this.
4. Show prospect dog will have no disqualifying faults for exhibition in
AKC conformation events or to make breeding inadvisable. Size is not guaranteed,
nor considered a fault under the terms of this contract.
5. Pets MAY have one or more disqualifying faults, and shall not be bred.
Pets will be sold with Limited Registration and must be spay/neuter by age
6 months. Proof of surgery is required for release of AKC papers. Alteration

Failure to comply with alteration by date listed will result in return of
the dog and all accompanying paperwork related to the dog without any further
compensation and at buyer‘s expense
6. It is buyer's responsibility to have the dog examined by a vet within
3 business days of receipt, to provide assurance of good health and as a
base line for future veterinary reference. If, during this period, dog is
determined to have any debilitating condition, it can be returned for of
refund of all moneys paid, except shipping.
7. A fee of $100.00 is required to hold a specific puppy. If that puppy is
not available (due to death, wrong gender/color, etc.), 100% of the fee will
refunded. Any fees paid can be applied to a different litter, with agreement
of both seller and buyer. Fee payment amt: _________ date paid:

If buyer changes his mind after the fee is received by seller, it will not
be refunded. Fees retained will be used for care and advertising of puppy,
until a suitable placement can be arranged.
8. Purchase price does not include cost of shipping. Shipping costs will
be borne by buyer, unless otherwise specified. Shipping costs include the
cost of a travel kennel, vet health certificate and an additional charge
of $75, if the dog is shipped out of Spokane, WA, rather than Lewiston, ID.
9. Dog is guaranteed to be free of any life threatening conditions or impairments
that severely restrict quality of life. If dog is found to have ailment related
to any of such condition, seller will replace dog at seller's earliest
convenience, after proof of spay/neuter surgery is received. You may keep
the dog or return it at your option. NO refund will be given. This does
not cover any condition caused by obesity or malnutrition.
Buyer assumes full responsibility for costs related to medical testing.
This provision is NOT meant to cover any condition due to the natural
aging process, malnutrition, abuse or neglect.
10. Buyer agrees to give proper and prompt veterinary care, along with quality
meat based dog food, fresh water, secure exercise space, training and shelter.
11. Buyer agrees to keep seller notified of current address and phone number.
12. If buyer cannot keep this dog for ANY reason, it shall be returned to
seller. No refund will be given.
13. Buyer agrees that seller is not responsible for the actions or safety
of this dog, once it leaves seller's possession. Buyer further agrees to
indemnify seller from any costs that result from such actions.
14. Buyer agrees not to sell or give this dog or it’s offspring to
retailers, dealers, wholesalers, or for auction, research, dog fighting or
to any other person(s) other than a screened pet/show home without prior,
written consent of seller. All provisions in this contract are designed to
safeguard the dog, the breed in general and the community, and as such, violation
of any provision will cause damage to seller's reputation. Failure to comply
with any provision will result in return of the dog to seller and a $1,000
fine for each incident, for said damages.
15. Buyer is responsible for all costs incurred for return of the dog. Dogs
that are returned MUST be accompanied by all AKC papers and microchip
identification signed over to seller.
16. Buyer of show prospect puppies agrees to use seller's kennel name as
the pre-fix in the registered name of the dog, and to provide clear photographs
suitable for advertising in printed publication six months after receipt
and once a year thereafter. Clear digital photos are acceptable. All advertising
of dog will include breeder's name and kennel name.

18. If this dog has been bred in any manner contrary to the terms of this contract, intentionally or unintentionally, the replacement guarantee is voided. All other terms remain in effect.
This contract shall be deemed legally binding and is under the jurisdiction of the State of Seller’s residence. It is further agreed that the place of venue shall be County of seller‘s residence.
