The Western Australian Tourism Commission has issued a very informative information catalogue for promoting tourism in the Mid West Area which is called ”Mid West Holiday Planner 2002”.

In the catalogue they describe the Mid West area as the home to one of the world's finest collection of flowering plants and that each spring the landscape becomes a multi-coloured carpet. This is a description that the Hutt River Independent fully supports. We also support the description of Hutt River Province in the brochure which reads as follows:
