we found out what was wrong with the enigne, it had some air trapped inside the block, once we found that out, fixing it was easy. today was the first day i drove the car, it was amazing, the throttle response was GREAT! and the acceleration...WOW, the first thing i did was took it in to get the exhaust welded up, with that done i can now drive it on the street, you may of seen me or heard me in town today! i just need some insurence on it and it will be ready to go, i still need to finish my hood, but if we get a nice day i might take it out despite that.

We started the 428 up today, everything went great! it was very loud and the cam was extrememly lumpy. we started it a day prior so when we started it today it rolled right over. we did find that the water pump was not working though, this could be the thermostat or the whole water pump. also we installed a 5" tach, put the hood on correctly and opened the hole a bit more.

Engine is complete, we will start the car as soon as i pick up a new starter.

dropped the 428 into the car today
bought alot of new dress up parts for it
i still have the 400 block and heads if anyone is interested.

400 block pulled out of the car
picked up the 428 from britco today
got the transmission back from the doctor today

pulled the stock hood out of the garage and cut a hole in it, primered it, and bought a 5" cowl for it.

Lost the hood off my car today
Blew up my engine today (400)
britco called the 428 is done and ready to pick up.

Dropped the blown tranmission off at the trans doctor to be rebuilt today.

got the 125 shot of nitrous today, testing it out on the stock 400 (160,000+mile) block.
