What We're All About
The Gospel Train is an evangelical ministry that includes a church [Living Waters City Church], but much more. Every week we conduct outreach meetings in the Perth suburb of Koondoola.
Musicians from various places lend a hand by contributing live gospel music and each week many hundreds of kilos of food is distributed to those in need. Our ministry has a large number of regular volunteers and we also run a sports ministry for young people, home visits for local residents, excursions and outreach meetings in country areas. Amongst the volunteers in our ministry are people from varying backgrounds and all walks of life.
Our charity caters for all sorts of people in a variety of situations. We focus on bringing communities together for fellowship, food, entertainment, challenges and building God's kingdom.
Our main meetings are held at the Koondoola Recreation Centre,behind the shops on koondoola ave Koondoola, every Friday at 11.30am. We will be starting a Sunday service in January 2003. Free food is given out every friday for those who need it. All are welcome. We also have excursions, outreaches, BBQs, home discussion and fellowship groups and a variety of alternative activities.
When you visit the Gospel Train, you will not be visiting an average church. Our organisation is different, diverse, sometimes radical, exciting and challenging. Many people have come to us depressed, disallusioned and even downright unhappy, but now, thanks to love and friendship, walk around with a smile on their face.
