Well the Bitter Sweet Crew is going through some tough times. See, the author, Rachel, has been really busy. Her family is going to be taking her away on vacation for a while, along with the fact that she has been attneding classes all summer. Then the other night, her dog almost died, so her summer has been, to say the least traumatic. She has been doing a little redecorating as well, taking up a lot of her time.

An editor her at Bitter Sweet, Michelle has also been busy. She is actually in the great state of Arizona as we speak. However, the next real update at Bitter Sweet will be friday, or Saturday. We have three, one two three new hosted stories to post, so get ready.

The crew is feeling rather swamped. It's 105 degrees. It's really hot. But we'll forge on through the summer. Chapter seven is waiting in the wings to be put up on Friday. A few finishing touches will be made. Also, Blair's story is going through some editing and it should be up as soon as we can get the html put into it. That could be anytime. So keep your eyes pealed.

Also, e-mailing is a go once more. No need to use the other addresses. Just e-mail us at the usual Bitter Sweet address. But you can IM us anytime you would like.

On another note, we recieved a feedback message a few days ago which we want to touch down on. Here's a snippet of what it said:

Is this still an Apolo web site? Now that the euphoria is coming down, where are the Apolo news? Our boy is coming to his own now and we need a place to go to for information regarding his whereabouts, schedule, etc. to keep him in the limelight.

Well, here is the reply. The main webmistress of this site is infact not an Apolo Ohno Teenie, neither is the secondary webmistress or most others on the staff. Some are Apolo fans, although the primary lady is not. This is a showcase of written pieces, which contain Apolo. However, if this is what the public wants, then in the future, we may start a bit of a new section. But there is one thing we need you all to know. Apolo is not a big celebrity. He's not Brad Pitt, he won't be making appearances all over the place, especially now, since it is not his season. We'll do our best to try to keep you all up to date and what not. But on the other hand we are avid believers in giving him a life. We in fact will not put things on this site which will be considered infringement of his rights as an American and human being. In other words, we're not putting garbage on our site.

We are so sorry for not updating this weekend. We have had some issues that are actually driving us nuts! Argh, okay, first of all, the third was one person on the staff's birthday and then the fifth was another. But on top of that, we got our birthday wishes. That's right, an e-mail virus. It's harmless since we didn't download it to our computers. However it has taken over our e-mail aka Bitter_Sweet_Crew@yahoo.com. What ever you do, DO NOT e-mail us right now. Use the feedback button or the guest book. We fear this may end up having us get a new e-mail address. If worse comes to worse, please e-mail us at either Girlfightclub007@yahoo.com or Mkow73@aol.com. Mostly mail the first. We expect to have chapter six up tonight, and things maybe working again. Hey! Greetings from the staff at "Bitter Sweet". We have a couple requests of you, the readers today. Ya see, we haven't been getting much as far as feedback goes. We know, it's horrible. And the main thing We want is to really hear what ya'll are thinking. We have a couple forms of writing feedback all around the page. There's the e-mail page, where you can send anyone on the crew an e-mail. Or the guest book, or even the feedpack icon. Let me explain that for a second. Now, when you press on that icon, it takes you to a page where you fill out the feed back to us. Simple. And we get it. And we don't know your addy, if you wanna keep that secret and what not. We just really want to hear from you. When we get messages, things work a little better, things run smoother. We here at Bitter Sweet love to hear what you are thinking. It helps us change things that may not be working, to suit you. It's really all for you.

On a second note. We have gotten, not as much a complaint as a comment on how the story is run. Here at Bitter Sweet, we work like a television show. The comment said something about not having all the chapters up and it being bad that we work that way. Well, this just needs to be cleared up, explained. And since it was sent via the feedback icon, we're not able to send an immediate e-mail. This is our only option. So, yeah, we work like TV show. If a TV show had all the episodes for you one week, would you go back to watch it? No, because it would be the same episodes over and over. What we at Bitter Sweet are doing, is building suspence, along with a fan base. We hope you understand.

On the final note, we are going to be introducing a few new features to Bitter Sweet, including a section where you can write your own Apolo Story to get posted on the page. It's going to be very fun. We learned about this from an Nsync Fiction page called: Basic Nstynct. Check it out. That page calls it "envisions", we're not sure what we're going to title it. Maybe... "You Make The Action". We don't know. But anyway, that's coming to the site shortly, as well as a few polls and other features.

We have a new story coming to the Bitter Sweet story site soon. It's called "Ready For You", written by a good friend of ours named, Blair. Here's what she had to stay about this upcoming story:
Apolo is tired, tired of everything. He escapes to Calgary, to take in the sights and train there. Amara is a hard-worker, from the apparent "hood" of Calgary; she has to work twice as hard to gain recognition in the short-track world. What happens when two forces of speed collide?

Sounds great! Keep on the look out for "Ready For You" coming soon, from our girl Blair!
