Biographical Sketch
Dan
is a native of Pittsburgh PA. He has been living on the West coast since moving
to the Bay area of San Francisco in 1981. After transferring to the Pacific
Northwest he has made Washington his home. Dan has been a Washington resident
for the last ten years.
Dan is currently a senior at Western Washington
University’s Woodring College of Education. His area of concentration is
leadership and management within the Human service field and he expects to
graduate in the spring of 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services.
Presently Dan serves as outreach coordinator for a
small non-profit agency in Bellingham, Washington and has found that working
with the public in that capacity to be rewarding and beneficial to his
experience in creative problem solving.
A dynamic professional with a strong record of leadership
and 24 years of service with the United States military, his experience in
personnel management supports his current area of study in the human
services leadership and management. His extensive team oriented background is
also well suited to a role in a multi-disciplined human service agency. His
goal is to work in a leadership position within a direct service agency.
