Here are the pictures of the car; I tried to provide an honest accurate view of the car's condition. I included front side and rear pictures of the passenger and drivers side. Also the wheel well and engine bay to show the car is 100% rust free. The picture of the dash bubble shows it as rather large, it's about an inch by an inch. The seats have the sheep's skins sown into them, I am sure the leather underneath is in good condition. I also tried to show the rock chips on the rear fenders, and front spoiler. The rock chips are no more then average for 104,000-mile car. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions, or an offer to make Jeffrey Recor ashlaughlk@aol.com (253) 838-0631

This car is very fun. It is the Weissach edition as I mentioned in the ad 400 were made 200 in two colors. I have numerous documents including the original window sticker. The options included were headlight washers, stereo, automatic speed control, alarm system, fog lights, electric sliding roof, the Weissach series features were metallic paint, leather, forged alloy wheels, front and rear spoilers, electric mirrors, power antenna, halogen head lamps, two rear speakers, 3.0 6 cylinder air cooled engine. The VIN number is 91A0413721. It was sold new in Deerfield Illinois. A Ms. Hanberry purchased the car, and it looks as if she moved to Georgia shortly after she bought the car. In 1993 a Mr. Joerding bought the car. He lives in Pullman, Washington (the eastern dry part of the state.) He only drove the car during the summer and put very few miles on it. He had numerous updates done through the years with Mechanic Masters of Spokane, Washington who specialize in German cars. In June of 1994 with 69,000 miles the tensioners were updated (recommended for the SC's) along with a clutch kit. In June of 1995 with 74, 000 miles $2500 + was spent on rebuilding the transaxle. The car now has around 104,000 miles on it. It runs and drives excellent. The interior is in fairly good condition; the front leather on the bolster has normal wear, the rear leather has never been used. The carpet is not worn out or faded and the overall inside condition is good. Everything works, as it should, the power options, the engine, the steering. The paint is in good condition; the owner did not have any previous knowledge of damage. The car has a clean title and doesn't appear to have any signs of crash damage. The frame is straight and the car drives and handles fine. There is no rust, and no real sign of aging other then the usual 104,000-mile car (front spoiler, on the bottom of the rear fenders). It runs good with even compression and doesn't burn any oil or smoke. If you are interested please contact me. I am located in the Seattle area, and can have any shop of your choice evaluate the car, transportation arrangements can be made.
