The future of Ashton Park |
Mr Frank Hull decided to start a group once again for 'Ashton Park' called 'Friends of Ashton Park' where we would like to ask members of the public if they would like to join the group and attend a meeting at least once a month for about an hour at a time.
Soon we'll be carrying out a big clean up on 'Ashton Park' which will basically be a clean up of weeds and making it look more of a presentable place for people out of town to visit and visit again. 'Ashton Park' will not be possible to improve without your help and support of member of the public which will help apply for grants to provide many things for 'Ashton Park'. As you can tell from our History Page, most of the equipment still standing on 'Ashton Park' at the moment has been raised independently with help off the public.
We would like to make 'Ashton Park' a more enjoyable place for people to visit, like children and O.A.P's. We are currently looking at making 'Ashton Park' more accessible for the disabled and for parents with prams and so on. Also, making the footpaths more comfortable to walk on.
Do you have any idea's you would like to see on 'Ashton Park? if so please feel free to e-mail me and all feed back is welcome.
** PLEASE NOTE:If there's some additional information that you would like then please e-mail me and I will forward you the information you require, Thank you.
