Precinct Newsletter

The precinct newsletter is an easy way to introduce yourself to the people of your precinct and to let them know that you are working for them. The precinct newsletter will also be helpful at election time as a tool to outline important Republican issues and candidates up for election.

You can publish and distribute your precinct newsletter on a regular or semi-regular basis, as is most convenient to you. Your precinct newsletter need only be a page long, and should be typed, either on a typewriter or a computer. No need for it to be detailed or fancy. The idea is simply to give the folks in your precinct some information about yourself and the Republican issues and candidates.

Some Newsletter ideas may include:

Make enough copies of the newsletter to cover the voters ranked with a number 1, 2, or 3 on your card file or database. You can distribute the newsletters by hand, by U.S. Mail, or by e-mail, whatever you choose. However, when you canvass your precinct be sure to have plenty of newsletter copies with you to hand out.
