C3 5- Point Harness
If you ever look to buy an harness bar for a C3 Corvette, You will find that nobody makes them. So I've designed a Harness Bar that can be install in C3 Corvettes ('74 thru '82) without any cutting or modifications to the interior. It uses all the existing seat belts supports and doesn't block access to the rear compartments. The Simpson 5-point harness belt is used . Part of the harness bar has a bracket where the crotch strap attaches and also mounts a fire extinguisher. This bracket can be sold separate as a fire extinguisher mount only. The bar is made from 1-1/4" Dia. Chrome molly steel and 1/4" thick cold roll flat bar. The harness bar is painted with Black urethane. In the future there will be a video camera mount.
