You're like a river upon my mind,
My thoughts are bathed in your sweet flow,
With all that I am, all that I can find.
With all that I am, I love our talks,
I sometimes slip on gloomy slopes,
When sorrow's shadow looms and stalks,
With all that I am, I cling to our hopes.
With all that I am and all that you are,
Our passion as one will only succeed,
While many others fail to reach their stars,
