Shy
A friend once told me that no one is shy, they're just afraid
This made me sit and think about what she said
What she told me, I feel is true
I once considered myself shy, too
But when she put it that way, it made me see
that she was right about me
I wasn't shy, I was afraid, in my mind
The truth someday you too, will find
That being shy is in your head
Shy, nope your afraid instead
So push away your fears, and say what you feel
Because once you get used to talking you will realize
What she said is true and you'll smile and think what a deal!!!
