My Last Poem

i'll always feel this love for you,
but still i'll pretend it's not there,
moving on is the only thing i can do,
as long as you know i'll always care.

for years, writing has been my one devotion,
and many emotional wounds it did mend,
but the one thing i've learned about this emotion,
is that no matter what it gets you in the end.

that's the last one........i can't write about what i don't want to feel.
