More Than Friends
In my mind and in my heart
I’ve never noticed it was there before
But here it is beginning to start.
I have always thought of you as just a friend
But now I feel something new
I think of you now, as a part of my life
And see you as someone who would be true
You’ve seen me go through a lot of things
Yet you’ve never judged what I’ve done
When I’m talking or listening to you
It helps me to put down my gun.
You mean a lot to me in so many ways
And I think about you every day
I want you to know I really love you
