In Stillness I Will Cry
In stillness I will lie
Staring at the shadows on the ceiling
I wonder where and why
This life it seems so hard at times
I cannot even cry
My tears are stifled, blocked and trapped
But you see them in my eyes
For it is when hearts are crushed
And little specs remain
Of what once was, and should have been
But nothing it was to gain
So lying here in night so dark
In stillness I will cry
Hoping that tomorrow comes
And quickly passes by
