This Love Someone Misplaced

this love someone misplaced
this fear someone misplaced along with my distant kisses
fallen angels and near misses
hair strained to its end looking for forgotten faces
red cheeks came across amends
pale lies yearning for forgiveness
she sheds light upon the moon,
the fluster of the morning dew
blank expressions to twisted smiles
i'll never leave her,
no not for a while
this love some misplaced
its the best thing in my life
yet its end tamed me myself,
never foolish out of love
her memories wish me dead
still I dream of the things we promised
subjects which my muse said to hold me
in my darkest days
the warmth I expect is now
chills this palpable infatuation
I become to what avails if its misplaced
