Looking Back
i realize that we were perfectly paired
but times changed and so did we
i sit and think of how it used to be
the endless smiles the tears that were shed
there's no more smiles when i think of what's ahead
i cry myself to sleep almost every night
i pull the blankets over my head and hold my pillow tight
but life goes on and so must i
but i will never forget you until the day i die
