If it Matters
I don't look like a romeo
On the outside
I'm a rough rider
On the in I'm heaven's home
I don't have all the answers
But I have the one that counts
I love you with all my heart
Lookin' at you I see doubt
If it matters what I look like
Then it don't matter how I feel
I've heard looks can be decieving
Though I'm not handsome I am real
Don't just look at what is showing
Look at who I really am
If it still matters what I look like
Then I'll still be a lonely man
I've never been hot on the market
I've never been well to do
No lady ever gave me a chance
No one ever saw what I can do
I'm not much to ever look at
But I look good from the inside
I've never drawn a big crowd
But I've drawn a look from your eyes
If it matters what I look like
Then it don't matter how I feel
