A string walks into a bar and the bartender says, 'Hey, we don't serve strings here. Get out!' So the string stands outside until a guy walks by. 'Excuse me, stranger,' says the string, 'can you tie me in the middle and shred my ends?' So the stranger does so and the string goes back into the bar and the bartender says, 'Hey, aren't you the string that was just in here?' 'No,' replies the string, 'I'm a frayed knot.'
