Murphy's Rules of Paintball

)If your opponent is in range, so are you.

)One hit is better than 148 near misses.

)Loud mouths tend to be paint magnets. Remember, silence is golden.

)Paranoia is good. Everyone is trying to shoot you.

)Stay calm. It is only a game.

)Referees are human, contrary to rumor. They can't be every where and see everything at once.

)Gravity works. Take the high ground when possible.

)A lucky shot counts just like a good shoot.

)If an idea didn't work, it wasn't great.

)Friendly fire is not.

)Incoming fire is more accurate than outgoing fire.

)There is always someone better than you. You may not have met them yet.

)What bounces in practice breaks in a game.

)Luck is often better than skill.

)If you are out numbered, you make a strategic withdrawal. If you have the numbers, the other players turned tail and ran.

)Everyone has an off day.

)There is no shame in being beaten when you played your best. It happens to everyone from time to time.

)Murphy was a ref.
