btreeding fish

you probablly shouldnt try to breed the above fish, as an adult may set you back about $300 and dissapointment will be great

BREEDING: Sometimes just keeping the fish isn’t enough (I know the feeling) so one might decide to attempt to breed a type of fish, well below are some of the easier fish I have bred and their tank setup, Food etc. Bristlenose: Are a easy fish to get to spawn with patience. First of all I suggest you buy a syphoner because you will be needing this A LOT!!! All you need is a tank, anything over a 18” will be fine (my sister breeds them in a 18”), I breed them in a 2 foot, 1 adult male bristlenose, 1 adult female bristlenose, no gravel, a bit of wood, a small ceramic log, which you can buy from city farmers and some fish stores, and a small ceramic flower pot turned upside down with the hole in the top covered with black silicon and a arch cut in the bottom so as the male and female can get in and out. You will also find a bit of money in this!!! Temp = 26*C pH = not sure actually, but tap water de-chlorinated is just right. Food = algae wafers, and for the young ones boiled pumpkin is a good growing food. Convicts: Are a cichlid and dead easy to breed just put them in a nice setup with gravel and so-forth and a few egg laying sites (smooth surfaces etc.) and wait. Yup.. That simple but not that rewarding money wise. Temp. = about 27*C pH. = 7.0 coz they are a cichlid Food = sera flora flake for the adults and newly hatched brine shrimp for the young ones. Guppies: Are boringly easy!!!, just buy 3 odd fat females and put them in a tank...to boring!!!!!
