A Little About Me...Carol

I'm the 2nd of 11 kids, still living.
( 8 girls + 3 boys in the youngest set.)Poor little guys!
(Well, "bigger than me," little guys!)

My Father (3/4) & Mother (1/2) are both Aleut (or "Alutiiq.")
Kodiak Island Natives, from Kodiak Island, in Alaska.
(with Tlinget & Stakein ancestory.)
"Actualy..." Dad's nearly full Aleut...
They just didn't register him that way.

The blonde hair? From my Mothers side.
Grandma
(Danish) is very blonde,
While Mom is a strawberry blonde.

I have a 1/2 brother who was adopted out at birth,
("born June / 1972, Seattle, WA.")
I'd love to find him someday!

Family oriented, Wife & Mother of 3...
Justin, age 18. Michael, age 12. Heather, age 18.
Both Justin & Heather are my Honor Student Graduates. (2001)

Extreme lover of "All," Animals...

Our family includes several pets:

  • 2 iguanas; "Babe & Gina."
  • 1 Cuban Frog, (Cooba or) "Cooby Doo!"
  • Multiple finches, 2 cockatiels, "Bob & Angel."
  • A Lovebird, Henry, (or "Onery!")
  • 3 dogs; "Jenny," (or Aunt Jemima,)is my oldest,
    a Boarder Collie X
    Australian Shep. X Chow Mix, is 14 "Human Years Old,"
    (That's 98 years old, for a dog!)
  • "BO," (Part Wolf,) is 1 of Jenny's "Bigger," Babies,
    (he's about 7-human / 49-Dog years old)

  • & Jenna, (My, Jenny Wanna-Be.) Was rescued with her brother & sister,
    found dumped in the woods, (about 4 yrs ago,)
    when she was no more than 3-4 weeks old.
    She's also survived a serious car injury & recovered from a fractured pelvis & 2 cracked vertabre.

  • 4 cats; "Shadow, Houdini, Spaz & MommaSpud."

  • 3 fish tanks, 1 Triop bowl & 1 SeaMonkey bowl.

    • "Plus the occasional unexpected guest (or 2...)

    I'm an avid ooutdoor gardner,(with numerous indoor plants year round, too!)
    so far, I'm up to 12 outdoor garden/beds.
    There's some seasons my hubby gets lonely, when it's hard to get me out of my gardens!

    That is, "until recently," when a medical condition
    has forced indoors more, (out of the sun /wind etc.)

    Handy with power tools, a workbench & even cement!

    Any other times, I'm either at the computer,

    or... digging into a stack of books...
    Reading anything & everything I can get my hands on.
    I just can't get enough!
    That'd be the Virgo, (researcher,) in me.
    (Better yet,) Virgo, "with," Virgo Rising!
    Something Metaphysical ]

    Lastly, "but not leastly,"
    If I'm not crafting or jewelry making,
    It's likely, I'm fast asleap in my bed...
    or fast asleap in the tub!
