Becky finishes her Championship in style!!
Under judge Ray Richardson,
Becky went Winners Bitch for her 3rd major
and then went Best of Breed, from the classes, over 3 Specials to finish!!
The garden photo was done by John Ericksson who had come out to professionally photograph all our dogs for "possible" use in an 2011 calendar. Rarely does the owner of a dam get the chance to have the stud dog come to her.
Enjoy the photo but DO NOT copy it under any circumstances.
We absolutely love our Gabriel/Trouble puppies
and have decided to breed Becky to Gabriel (Esspecial Moonlite Express).
She had her 4 of her puppies on Christmas Eve and the other came on Christmas day.
We had 3 liver and white males, 1 blk and white male and one black and white female.
We were lucky enough to have Gabriel come stay with us while Pat and Ron were on their honeymoon.
Gabe was the perfect house guest! He blended well with all our girls from Gramma Star who will be 13 soon, to his daughter Lily. Here are a couple of photo's of Gabriel while he stayed with us.

We were very pleased that Becky, amongst some of the Nations very best, picked up a 4th place at the 2008 Nationals.
This beautiful movement photo was taken by Diana Hadsell Photography. This is her placement photo:
Becky took a trip to Canada, winning all three days! She took BOB under Keke Kahn. She only needs 4 more Canadian points to complete her Canadian Championship.
Becky picks up a 5 point Specialty Major at the Willamette Valley English Springer Spaniel clubs July Specialty under esteemed judge, Carl Liepman!!
Becky went back to back Winners at the Wenatchee K.C. Show.
After looking down the book aisle at romance
novel titles, I decided to have a little fun with this litter theme. The litter theme is "TEMPTATION" as
seen on so many romance novel titles. Becky's name comes from a Nora Roberts book,
Brazen Virtue. We had thought to name her Nora, but friend and
co-breeder, Julie Hamasaki said, "no...I am calling her Becky". So, that was that. You can follow Becky's career as Majic Kennels
newest "Champion in training". Click here for small wmv video of Becky getting in touch with her "inner wolf. We are lucky enough to have 2 1/2 acres for the dogs to play on.

Friend Katie Effert was able to show her for us that weekend and did a fine job.
ONE MORE POINT TO GO FOR HER CHAMPIONSHIP! YEE HAW!!

for small wmv video of Becky doing what she loves...running at full speed!
She had already run for about 40 minutes when I decided to take this video. She is 6 months old here.
Here is another photo of Becky at 2 years old. She still loves to run these huge long runs. Maybe she thinks she is a Whippet?

Becky did VERY well in her first shows. Her first show she went Reserve Winners. Her 3rd weekend out she went Reserve Winners again, defeating 23 other bitches and then for the Southern B.C.Canadian Specialty she went Best Puppy!
To say we are pleased with this breeding and are excited about Becky would be an understatement!
We will now put her away to mature and grow coat.
Becky "came out" again in March of 2008. She grew some coat, learned to be a show girl and she is maturing into a beautiful dog with loads of body and the sweetest temperament. She is shown here winning her major under respected judge Eva Berg. Shown by co-breeder Julie Hamasaki.
Becky won the following weekend in Sequim, after the Willamette Specialty, under judge Robert Stien. He commented that she is a beautiful bitch who was very spanielly.
