The Field Marshall had just woken up one morning when a guard came in and told him about a transmission recieved from a new Wartech ambassador, whom the Grantides had never heard of. It was a request for a meeting, and so the Field Marshall agreed.

The Field Marshall waited outside the Teleporter device in the meeting room. After a while the Wartech Ambassador came through. The guard checked him for weapons, and they took away a Wartech UZI away from him. Luckily, we have the conversation recorded...

Recorded by reporter Cameron Camera "Well, well, if it isn't the Field Marshall himself! How are you doing this fine afternoon?" asked the Ambassador. "I am Ambassador Unowon." They started walking. Field Marshall Groove answered, "Why, I'm fine thank you. I see that Wartech have taken to rebellion in a bigger way than I thought." "What do you mean, Groove?" Unowon answered, in a worried tone. "Well, I've noticed that you have started the production of illegal weapons, such as UZIs," replied Edward Groove. Unowon then took out a piece of paper and started reading aloud, "If you take a closer alliance with the Wartech Corporation, we shall help get rid of ICE Extreme, and maybe the Senator can be made Supreme Consul..." "Nice try!" interrupted Groove. "We know what you're doing! We know that big 'undetectable' piece of junk up there is the prototype for a thing which you hope to destroy the Republic! We have studied it closely and we have the plans!" The ambassador looked very shocked. He then took out his mobile phone, and the Field Marshall continued, "Oh yes, we disable all unregistered by Grantide standard communication devices here." Unowon just gave an evil smile, then stuck it to the wall and ran back towards the teleporter. "It's a grenade!" the Field Marshall shouted. A guard then ran towards the Field Marshall and pushed him onto the floor. The bomb went off and it left a large opening in the corridor wall. "You shall feel the destruction!" shouted a voice.

Cameron Camera's recorder tape was then damaged afterwards, so we have no exact word recordings and we had no time to get photographs, as the camera was quickly destroyed by General Boom in case Wartech or ICE found out. Anyway, we do know what happened afterwards, seeing that Cameron is allowed around the base as an official.

Written by reporter Cameron Camera. Commander Fly Away shouted, "Everyone! Get to their craft now!". The Maxfighters went up, and the Commander looked at his favoured Apache, as he wished he could use that in space. He got in a Maxfighter and flew off. I was mistaken for a pilot, and knowing only how to fly a Biplane I got in and flew off anyway. Looking at all the funny knobs and buttons, I realised that I wasn't on Auto-pilot like in Star Wars Episode one. I saw a button called 'Manual control system'. So I pressed it, and a pretty obvious control stick came out of the control panel. After that, I pulled back to ascend and I followed the others upward... I was in space, and a Maxfighter with a logo on it and a slightly better design than the others was ahead and everyone seemed to be following it. It must have been the Commander's. Then a button started lighting up and beeping, so I pressed it and a voice said, "You're not supposed to be with us, Mr. Camera. How did you get on board that ship?" I asked them how they found me, and Commander Away said that my badge had special sensors in it. He told me to go back, and then I switched off the entire radio.

After about an hour I was just about falling asleep. Then we saw it. A massive Battlestation, Rebel Destruction Wartech. It was only the prototype, I told myself, but even that did not settle my fears. I switched back on my radio and asked the 'Max.14' Pilot if it was defended by fighters. Then my good friend Funk replied, "Yo! Cameron, dude! Ya finally became a pilot!" I told him how I was mistaken, and we were just about to have a conversation while flying in and out of the framework of the battlestation, when suddenly they came... You would never have seen more frightening ships than these, even megalights. The ships were pitch black but eerily light came from the ships themselves. They were shaped like skulls with horns from them, and while we were busy looking at them in horror, one of them destroyed a Maxfighter with one hit. We shot back, and nothing happened. "The ship squadron analysis is beginning, hold them off while I find their weak points!!" shouted Alex Gility on the radio. I pressed the 'Hydro Propulsion Pump' button, and a center computer screen said 'No water detected, attempting to start command'. Suddenly I realised that this was for underwater use and tried to turn it off. Too late, I started spinning around on the spot. It saved my life, for a laser from the Skull ships just missed me. I turned off the Pump and pressed 'Space Agility System'. Then on this screen a big plan of the behind of my ship was shown, and a thrust seemed to be trying to get out, but couldn't. I had to hurry, for the Skull Ship was coming around for another attack. I quickly pressed a button under the one I had just pressed labeled, 'Boost Hatch - Open/Close'. I pressed it and suddenly a blue flame appeared round my ship. I zoomed right away, my ship being a blur to the Skull ships. "I can't get the analysis!" shouted the radio. I then tried to think for myself. I coughed, and suddenly I started a small nosebleed. I wiped it clean, and then dived right towards a nearby fighter. I then machine-gunned his nose and he exploded. "He's done it!" cried the Commander. "Aim for the noses!" once all of the ships were down, the Commander went into the battlestation, which appeared to be moving towards Earth. Then it started exploding from the middle, but it wasn't destroyed. "Didn't you destroy it?" asked a voice. "No, Jefferson, I only managed to get it hovering in the atmosphere. We chased it down, and it was hovering about 40,000 metres over Legonia. The commander told the squadron, who were short of missiles, to stay behind while he and Alex went to do something in the base. I guessed correct...

The Commander came back ten minutes later in his Apache. "Yeehaa!" he cried. He seemed to stop being an old bore in his chopper. "That thing's gonna fire!" shouted Funk. Sure enough, the bottom framework started glowing. The apache went into the framework, and we had to all fly from the ship as it exploded. Was the Commander... dead? No. Back at base, we were mourning from him when a very beaten chopper came down, covered in ashes and battered. It landed and everyone cheered. We then had a large meal, and I was mentioned in the Senator's speech and was awarded the Badge of Grantide Honour, a very important badge.
