State Road No. 12 Ocean Beach Highway

State Road No. 12 Ocean Beach Highway began at Jct. PSH 1 Pacific Highway in Chehalis and headed westerly via Pe Ell to Raymond, then southerly via South Bend to Johnsons Landing, then southwesterly to Ilwaco, then southeasterly via Chinook, ending at the ferry landing at Megler. In 1926, the Raymond to Megler portion of the Ocean Beach Highway became part of US 101. In 1926, State Road No. 12 from Chehalis to Johnsons Landing was redesignated as part of Primary State Highway (PSH)12. The remainder of the trunk of State Road No. 10 became the Johnsons Landing-Megler branch of PSH 12.

Johnsons Landing-Kelso Branch

The Johnsons Landing-Kelso Branch of state Road No. 10 Ocean Beach Highway began at a junction with the trunk of State Road No. 10 at Johnsons Landing and headed easterly via Naselle, Skamokawa, Cathlamet, and Longview, ending at Jct. State Road No. 1 Pacific Highway in Kelso. In 1926, this branch of State Road No. 12 became part of US 830. This route was redesignated as part of the trunk of Primary State Highway 12 in 1937.
