Secondary State Highway 11H

The SSH 11H designation was added to state law in 1961. The designation did not become effective until late 1966, however. SSH 11H began at Tyler and headed easterly to Cheney, then northerly to Four Lakes. In 1961, this route was still temporarily part of PSH 11 signed as US 10 and US 395. When I-90 was completed from Tyler to Four Lakes in late 1966, bypassing Cheney, the PSH 11 designation, unposted, was shifted to the Interstate. The highway through Cheney became signed as SR 904.
