State Route 395

US 395 functions as SR 395 in Washington State. The big change that has happened to the route of US 395 in Washington State since 1964 has been between the Oregon state line and Pasco. Before 1986, US 395 entered the state along with US 730 at the Wallula Gap and headed NE to Wallula Jct, just south of the mouth of the Walla Walla River. At this junction, US 730 ends. US 395 joined US 410, now numbered US 12 and headed NW via Burbank to Pasco. In 1986, US 395 was shifted to the route of I-82 from Umatilla, Oregon to the south side of Kennewick. At Exit 113, US 395 leaves I-82 and heads from Kennewick via the Blue Bridge to Pasco. At the north end of Pasco, US 395 rejoins its traditional corridor, heading NNE to Ritzville and Spokane, then NNW to Colville and the Canadian border.
