State Route 223

SR 223 was added to the state highway system effective July 1, 1965. The mid 1960s vintage SR 223 bridge across the Yakima River replaced an old narrow bridge built by the county. SR 223 is 3.80 miles long.

The unposted legislative number for this route from 1965 to 1970 was SSH 3T.
