The Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker near Mossyrock is located on the south side of US 12 in the Mossyrock Dam Park. The park is at the north end of Mossyrock Dam. The dam is owned by Tacoma Power and is located on the Cowlitz River a few miles upstream from the City of Mossyrock. The marker was sponsored by the Mossyrock Garden Club in cooperation with the Mossyrock Chamber of Commerce in 1989.
