The Puget Island Ferry is operated by Wahkiakum County WA and connects Westport OR with Puget Island WA. SR 409 heads north from the ferry landing on Puget Island across Puget and Little Islands to the Julia Butler Hansen Bridge. The highway continues across the bridge to the town of Cathlamet and ends at Jct SR 4. This photograph was taken in January 2002 at the ferry terminal on Puget Island.
