Kek Lok Si is a very large Buddhist temple complex near Georgetown, the main population center on Penang Island in Malaysia.  The temple grounds are full of things to see and places to worship.  There is a turtle pond (believers are reminded to please not release any more turtles into the crowded pool), the Temple of 10,000 Buddhas (the Buddhas are mostly in the form of plaques on the wall, look closely at photo 12 though some of them are statues such as in photo 13 and on the ground floor there is a very large Buddha image), and smaller temples for praying and meditating in (such as in photo 7).  People offer incense and candles (photo 5), and relax on the benches outside of the temple buildings.  The grounds of Kek Lok Si are landscaped with flowers and bushes as you can see in photos 2-4 (the tall spire is the Temple of 10,000 Buddhas).
